Questions
- Is Owetell free?
- Yes. There is no paid tier, no ads and no limit on how many expenses you add.
- Do I need to install it?
- No. It runs in the browser. You can add it to your home screen if you want an app icon.
- What happens when I have no signal?
- Owetell saves your expenses on your device. It syncs them to the room when you reconnect.
- Who can see my rooms?
- Only the people you invite. Room data is never public.
- Can I use it from Claude?
- Yes. Add the Owetell MCP connector to Claude. Claude can then add expenses, answer questions about balances and record payments. It uses your account and your permissions.
